– If you enter Vietnam to be exempted from visa for 15 days, you can extend the visa for an additional 15 days or 1 month. The procedure may take 4-7 days (not applicable on weekends and holidays) depending on the renewal period you want to register.

1- Give us details of your current visa including:

+ Your nationality (send passport information)
+ Visa type (visa exemption for 15 or 30 days, visa type 1 month or 3 months 1 or more times …). DL stands for tourist visa and DN stands for business visa;
+ Your nearest date of entry or expiry date of your visa;
+ Port of entry: Hanoi airport, Da Nang airport, Ho Chi Minh airport or land border.

Important notes when Vietnam visa extension:
1-month visa (DL category): Issued at Vietnamese embassies / consulates or upon arrival at any international airport in Vietnam with approval letter

3-month visa (DN category): A business visa, issued at Vietnamese embassies / consulates or on arrival at any international airport in Vietnam with an immigration approval letter from the Immigration Department Vietnam grant (Official letter of entry).

Electronic Visa (E-visa): Issued by the Immigration Department of Vietnam through the electronic system through the official website of the Vietnamese government: https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/.

Your visa must be submitted for an extension the day before it expires (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays).

Visa extension fee can be paid in US dollars or Vietnamese Dong or by bank transfer.
